Laura R. Hatch, MD is a board certified ophthalmologist who is available to offer a wide scope of expertise, focusing on comprehensive ophthalmological care.

Her prior experience in private practice includes the diagnosis and treatment of dry eye and blepharitis, glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic eye disease, as well as routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, and laser surgery. She is fully committed to providing excellent and compassionate ophthalmic care to our patients.

Dr Hatch graduated from Hamilton College with a B.A. in Biology and a minor in Anthropology and Economics. She received her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington D.C. During medical school, she excelled academically and was elected into the honorable Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr Hatch completed her internship at Harvard’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY where she served as Chief Resident during her senior year, allowing her to utilize her excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills.

Dr Hatch is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is also a member of the Women’s Medical Association of Fairfield County.

Dr Hatch and her husband live in Wilton with their three daughters and golden retriever. She enjoys tennis, skiing, running, baking and traveling.
